Our Domaine
Domaine Cailhol Gautran is set amongst the rolling countryside, in the foothills of the Massif Central. The hamlet of Cailhol lies in a valley carved out by a river – the Cessière. Like the river this joins – the Cesse – it cuts through the limestone Causse of the Haut Minervois. The vineyards lie around the estate within a radius of 3 kilometres. The vineyards are planted on a sunny, south-facing limestone plateau at an altitude of 250 metres. The vineyards make up 55 hectares of vines in production, on the most beautiful terroirs of our estate. In addition we have planted 1,5 ha of Mourvedre in 2019, 2,3 ha of Grenache Noir in 2020 and soon we will plant an additional 2 ha of Syrah.
Our tasting cellar
We will welcome you with delight in our tasting cellar from 10h to 12h and from 15h to 18h on weekdays.
Come discover our wines while enjoying a superb view of the olive groves. You will also find local products, such as olive oil and soaps without essential oils, as well as pâtés (family produced) for a snack, and personalized wine glasses to bring home as a souvenir of your visit to the estate.

Accessible, air-conditioned and equipped !
Our cellar is equipped with a special access with a ramp, and a playground for children.
You can also admire our exhibition of semi-abstract paintings by artist Gerry Dudgeon, inspired by the landscape of the estate.
